Hi everybody !  I bet some of you have been wondering, well whatever happened to Cherelle since I havent posted in well, like forever! I have just been staying busy and mostly have been doing Facebook since I can akcess it on my mobile phone;it comes in very handy for when I'm waiting on my kids to finish their lessons.Jesses doing lots better in 4-H.He is doing a pet project on dogs and got a blue ribbon last Saturday on his visual presentation on How to Groom a Dog.happy My oldest son Ricky just celebrated his 15th birthday. Now he wants driving lessons so I've got to see about getting him down to take the learning permit test so we can get in some road practice.I hope he doesn't drive me crazy !laughingMy husband has come down with pnuemonia and has had to be in the hospital for most of the week;and his gall bladder has gone bad so he will have to have that taken out when he recuperates from the pnuemonia, sad Yawl can pray for him. My oldest daughter Amber has come back for a while to help me with her little brothers.I don't know what I'd do without her, shes really good at cooking-I have turned out a gourmet chef in her.silly If anybody from my xanga friends here wants to friend me on Facebook.I'm Meg Stutts on there ;which is my real name and the profile pic of me is the same one as I have on here.I seem to use it a lot more these days, but Xangas still fun too.Well yawl take care and I hope its sunny where-ever you are. It'll soon be March so springs on its way! • January 2010

Its hard to believe its 2010 ! I've been having a busy sort of January so I haven't had much free time to blog or anything else this month so far.Today we spent the good part of the day at a 4-h speaking contest. My older son did ok talking about cars of the future but my 8 year old got stage-fright and wouln't say much of anything.Poor Jesse , but he got a participation ribbon and got to be with his pals for a while today and that's what matters to an 8 year old. He'  ll probably lose his shyness when he gets older.I know getting older helped me on that.My back hurts sitting here and I've still got to drop in on my college site and tuern in an assignment-I'm doing online school to finish my elementary school teaching degree.Wish me all the luck you can and pray for me .I'll need it.Its been a long time since I've been in school.I'm signing off for now.Happy January.

  • Well-I survived Christmas-lol

Its 2 days after Christmas and the kids are still playing- I've run out of food and i'm heading for the store-the kids and the company ate it all up. I still have one guest and can't wait for her to leave; husbands sister. I woke up sick yesterday, warned her that intestinal flu is very catching but insisted on comimg anyway- was so sick during the nite last nite that I thought I was going to die, am feeling better now, thank God but still real tired. I won't stay at the store long. The Wii was a really good present for the boys, they've played it a lot since they got it. I hope they don't get sick too but they probably will. This ussually goes through the family like dominoes. At least we were well last weekend to sing in the Christmas program at church.Well i'd better find my shoes-am wearing the slippers my daughter got me 4 Christmas now and head for the grocery, if I sneak out maybe none of the kids will want to come with me-I desperately need some me time. It's not like I don't like Christmas but all the people around is making me nuts ! Might be different if they'd help around the house but Bill and his sister are very good at doing Nothing ! OH well this too shall pass. Hope all my blogpals have had a nice holiday. I'll be glad when things get back to normal around here.

  • Parades, shopping, and all that Christmas stuff

Hi everybody,          its been a while since I blogged last so I'll try to catch up. The turkey was great- my husband was sick again but some friends of mine from church pitched in to help and we still had a great thanks giving. We have a lot to be thankful for since he didn't have to have heart surgery again-just balloon angioplasty . I chose this new theme since we're getting ready for Christmas around here and Jesse loved the train- i love the teddy bear on it. I love cute little critters. I  finally last week got my tree dug out of its spot in the garage and put up in the living room then after the parade last night the boys and I went shopping for some outside stuff to put up.We wound up getting a light -up crystal reindeer whom my youngest child has dubbed Prancer and some candycanes that light up. I want to get a Santa Claus to go out there too. We have been working on our Christmas musical production at church, theres only one more practice to get it all together so i'm crossing my fingers hoping everybody stays well and it works out good. I have gotten some of my shopping done but theres still a lot I haven't done yet. It seems like every time I go out the kids are with me so it makes shopping for them hard.My guys bought Lady , our cocker spaniel dog, some reindeer antlers at Walmart that light up, she wont keep them on for very long but they look cute on her. I'll have to take a picture. I found a floor size world map for Jesse that we can use for his schooling too. I think after the first of the year we're going to try unit studies and learn about a different country every 2 or 3 weeks. I may look up on the internet about how they do Christmas in different areas of the world, that would be fun. Anybody else thats homeschooling and has any ideas along these lines feel free to pass them along to me.Well thats about all I can think of to write about now, it I don't get another blog off before Christmas ,  Merry Christmas to you all.

Back to School and everything else

I am blogging in my sleep-lol, is there really such a thing as sleep blogging-but my kids are all down for the night and I think I'll update a bit. Insomnia is so much fun.I'm glad its the weekend or i'd have to take something to go to sleep. Both my schoolage kids are back in school. The oldest-13- is in middle school at a public school and my younger one is homeschooling. We joined a neat homeschooling group that does field trips and enrichment classes and all that.Jesse is taking karate and a Bible class with them this semester, he really enjoys it-but hopefully I won't kill myself trying to practice his moves for class with him-the only belt this mom has is a black and blue belt, meaning I get black and blue when i try to do karate-haha. I'd let his brother do his practicing with him but he is a lot bigger and tends to get carried away and forget that he's a lot bigger than Jesse. Junior has joined the band and is learning to play the trombone-my poor ears.I like the new neighborhood but wish I could get to know more people. We've started going to a church not very far away and the people are all very nice there.Jr likes being in the youth group and they have a lot of activities for the younger kids too-so I think we're starting to fit in around here.It sure has rained a lot in the past couple of weeks.I think north Mississippi is having a monsoon season.Tommorrows supposed to be sunny tho'. I like a sunny saturday, don't you? well I think i'll say bye for now and try to get a little shut eye before it turns into morning.
